Zenkaikon 2023 returned to Lancaster County Convention Center attracting around 7,000 attendees. Cinnaknight experienced the convention as a press member and participant, dealing with staffing issues, enjoying traditional market foods, engaging in cosplay with personal significance, and interacting with attendees. Despite initial struggles, the author praised the convention’s variety, cosplays, performances, and offerings like the Carolina Manga Library and event live streams. The convention concluded satisfactorily, with anticipation towards next year.

Castle Point Anime 2023: Go for the Con, Stay for the Friends!

Cinna Knight The Castle Point Anime 2023, held in Secaucus, New Jersey, was filled with cosplayers, gaming, merchandise browsing, and fun. This convention offered unique elements like a figure display, expanded photography area and food trucks. The event was most enjoyable for friends and local attendees.
Derpy Con 2022: Better Later Than Never?

Cinna Knight Derpycon 2022 Took place in the New Brunswick New Jersey Hyatt Regency from Friday, October 28th until Sunday, October 30th. Before I begin the review, I do admit last year’s review was very lenient. After all, conventions (including Derpycon), were just returning after a two year shut down! Unfortunately, the shortcomings of 2021’s event were at the forefront this year.
