Sailor Senshi on Tap
September 7th, 2013
At some point on Twitter, I had seen an announcement that there was to be a special Sera Myu karaoke event happening at the same time the new musical was out. I’m not exactly sure what is going on with that, but it seems that special drinks are going to be available, based on the five inner myu senshi.
I was asked by Ranma to give them a more adult twist… Take a look!
These drinks are translated from Japanese, into Italian, and then into English. I did none of the translations, so I apologize now if anything is wrong. I am also not a mixologist. I do, however, have experience in mixing my own drinks, and have experience with all of the alcohols I have selected to create these drinks. These are all untested, thus I don’t have accurate measurements to give you. Still, have fun, drink responsibly, and I hope you enjoy.
| Sailor Moon:
Blue Hawaii – acqua – gelato alla vaniglia – ciliegia
The virgin drink: Blue Hawaii, water, vanilla ice cream, cherries.
The alcoholic version: vanilla ice cream, blueberries, strawberries, milk, brandy – Blend like a smoothy.
As a variant, for those that don’t like milk products, mix strawberry puree, white chocolate liqueur, and vodka with cream soda.
| Sailor Mercury:
Blue Hawaii – sciroppo di cassis – soda – banana
The virgin drink: Black Currant syrup, Blue Hawaii, soda, bananas.
The alcoholic version: gin, blue curacao, cream soda.
As a variant, blend with ice to make it a frozen drink.
| Sailor Mars:

As a variant pour a half shot whiskey and a half shot cinnamon liqueur and light on fire..
| Sailor Jupiter:
Blue Hawaii – Ginger ale – panna fresca
The virgin drink: Blue Hawaii, ginger ale, whipped cream
The alcoholic version: coconut rum, melon liqueur, ginger ale
As a variant, a shot of absinthe (Cause I said so! XP).
| Sailor Venus:
Sciroppo alla fragola – succo d’arancia – fetta di arancia
The virgin drink: Strawberry syrup, orange juice, orange slices.
The alcoholic version: whipped cream vodka, Grand Marnier, orange pineapple juice.
As a variant use a white cranberry juice instead of orange.
The Karaoke information can be found here. It’s in Japanese, but it seems a chain karaoke lounge is helping to cross promote the musical.
